Professional Ventures: Nicole Seawell L'96 and Cindy Mahlberg L'06

Denver, CO

Alumnae Nicole Seawell L'96 and Cindy Mahlberg L'06 have partnered up to form Women in the Mix, a venture dedicated to inspiring and empowering women to thrive in work and life. They believe that "work-life balance" is a misnomer but that an individual, thriving "work-life mix" is an attainable reality. They believe that the mix is constantly changing and the support, tools, and resources to manage that mix must evolve as well.

Cindy and Nicole are currently undertaking a project that gathers stories from women who are in the mix of work and life. Through the stories – with a particular focus on practical perspective, tips, and everyday life – they hope that our community will find ways to continue or start thriving in their own lives.
