A variety of instructional services are available at Biddle. If you are unsure of your Librarian Liaison, please contact Tim Von Dulm at firstname.lastname@example.org.
|Classroom Support||Your library liaison can provide a wide range of services to help you with your classes, including identifying reading materials for the class, creating a research web page listing relevant research sources for students’ papers and class projects, and providing research instruction on specialized topics and research tools.||Your Librarian Liaison|
|Course Reserves||We offer closed reserve services to ensure that the students in your courses have access to necessary materials. Your library liaison is pleased to discuss your course reserve needs with you, including whether you would like copies of the course textbook to be purchased and placed on reserve.||Your Librarian Liaison|
The library can provide electronic reserves that are viewable to your students within your Canvas course page. This includes e-books, electronic articles or other digital items you might place on reserve.
E-reserve items will be listed on the Biddle Library E-Reserves page of your Canvas site. Depending upon your preference, they can be organized by folders according to topic or week/class, or simply listed. Visibility of individual items can be restricted to a specific period of time, if that suits instructional needs.
Scanning for the First Two Weeks’ Course Readings Provide us with the citations or send a copy of your syllabus to email@example.com and we will scan the first two weeks’ course readings and post them to Canvas via E-Reserves. Please give us as much lead time as possible (minimum two weeks) prior to the start of each semester to insure that readings are available for the first week of class.
