Resource of interest: ProQuest Legislative Insight is a federal legislative history service that makes available thoroughly researched compilations of digital full-text publications relevant to enacted United States public laws. Coverage extends from the 80th Congress (1947/1948) through the 112th Congress (2011/2012). These are complete legislative histories, citing and linking to full-text searchable PDFs of relevant documents, including legislative documents, Congressional Record excerpts, Congressional Research Service reports and other background materials. In addition, each legislative history is reflected in a LOLA cataloging record linking directly to the resource, and keyword searchable by bill or public law numbers, as well as by title.
