Professor deLisle Presents on Taiwan’s 2016 Election and Prospects for the Tsai Administration

July 19, 2016

On June 8, the Center for East Asia Policy Studies at Brookings and the Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) co-hosted a conference on the future of Taiwan under the Tsai administration. Professor Jacques deLisle served as a moderator on how the 2016 elections impact domestic politics and spoke on Taiwan’s international space as well as the country’s constitutional and quasi-constitutional challenges. FPRI’s journal of world affairs, Orbis, will publish the conference papers in an upcoming special issue on Taiwan.

The full conference can be viewed on the Brookings website.
