Sabrina Ruchelli L’19

Sabrina Ruchelli is from Philadelphia and earned her B.A. in History from the University of Delaware. While in Delaware, she focused on Environmental History and other intersections between Environmental Studies and the humanities. At Penn Law, Sabrina has done work with the Environmental Law Project on a variety of issues, including researching the Pennsylvania regulatory process and helping to file a comment to the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed rescission of the Clean Power Plan. She has also served as a board member for the Latin American Law Student Association and Penn Law Lambda, Penn’s student association for LGBTQ students. She currently serves as Executive Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.

During her 1L summer Sabrina worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania gaining exposure to both civil and criminal litigation matters. She spent her 2L summer at the City of Philadelphia Law Department in the Regulatory Affairs Unit, where she worked on transactional and regulatory projects for the Philadelphia Water Department. In her free time, Sabrina enjoys listening to podcasts and playing video games (sometimes simultaneously), and running (if it’s not too hot or too cold).
