Victoria Sanchez L’22

Victoria Sanchez is originally from Austin, TX and received her B.A. in Latin American Studies from Yale University in 2013. Prior to grad school, her work experience spanned the political, tech, and non-profit sectors, but she spent the most time at a literacy non-profit organization working on both direct programming and strategic projects. She is interested in using legal tools to continue mission and community driven work that creates a more equitable society.

At Penn, Victoria is a joint degree student at the Law School and the School of Social Policy & Practice, where she is pursuing a M.S. in Nonprofit Leadership. In the law school she is a Co-President of both the Latinx Law Students Association and the Democracy Law Project, as well as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Law and Social Change. Victoria spent her 1L summer as a judicial intern with Judge Karen L. Valihura at the Delaware Supreme Court, and as a Research Assistant to Professor Dorothy Roberts for a forthcoming book project.
