Bio

Maayan was awarded her SJD degree in December of 2014.  Prior to her SJD studies, Maayan obtained a Master’s degree in IP from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.  She also holds an LL.B. degree and a BA degree in Economics from Haifa University, Israel.

Maayan is an Associate at Indigo Group, where she handles intellectual property matters as related to technology-based companies, including registration, protection and enforcement of trademarks and copyrights, and all litigation issues relating to patents, copyrights, trademarks and trade secrets.  Previously, Maayan clerked for the Honorable judge Sandra L. Townes at the Eastern District of NY.  She also interned for the Honorable judge Mark Falk at the District Court of New Jersey and worked in a transactional litigation law firm in Israel.
