Ruben Aguirre

Ruben Aguirre is a rising 2L who was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. He first attended El Paso Community College and then graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso as a political science major in 2020. In undergraduate, Ruben was a Bill Archer Fellow and he also interned for the late Judge Philip Martinez at the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. At Penn Law, Ruben serves as Co-Director of Mentorship for First Generation Professionals and as Vice President for LALSA. This summer, Ruben is working as a judicial intern at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Outside of law school, Ruben is a little league baseball umpire. He also likes to spend his time playing chess, listening to music, and traveling. He looks forward to meeting Penn Law’s incoming class of 2024! #TrustTheProcess
