University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law and Social Change (JLSC)

We are a student-run journal that publishes interdisciplinary scholarship addressing social, racial, and economic justice. We seek to foster critical inquiry of institutions and practices that create and reinforce injustice, and we seek to explore both legal and extralegal paths to a more bearable society. Our broad mission attracts articles by a diverse range of legal scholars, practitioners, activists, and students, and JLASC encourages a comprehensive and collaborative journal experience, and all JLASC members are directly involved in the process of article evaluation, selection, and editing. During the 2021-2022 academic year, JLASC will publish its twenty-fifth volume.
