Casey Stewart L’21

Casey Stewart is a 2L member of the Penn Law Service Corps. Originally from the Philadelphia suburbs, Casey graduated with a B.A. in History from Bowdoin College. At Bowdoin, Casey ran track, was the Editor-in-Chief of The Quill, the college’s literary magazine, and directed FFLY High, a mentoring program for teenage girls. Between college and law school, Casey completed two AmeriCorps service years and spent four years working for sports-based youth development organizations as a soccer coach and evaluation analyst.

During her time at Penn Law, Casey has participated in the Mediation Clinic. She serves on the board of the Criminal Record Expungement Project and the Penn Law Women’s Association Pro Bono Committee. This spring, she will begin her McNulty Nonprofit Board Fellowship where she will be a visiting board member for a local nonprofit. In addition, Casey is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. She is also pursuing a certificate in Nonprofit Leadership. Last summer, Casey interned for the Honorable L. Felipe Restrepo of the Third Circuit. She will be at Ropes & Gray’s Boston office this summer.
