Albert Pak L’18

Albert is a Skadden Fellow and Attorney at Michigan Community Resources in Detroit. His practice focuses on delivering transactional legal services to small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs that serve low-income communities. At Penn, Albert served as a Senior Editor on the Law Review and as a leader in the Christian Legal Society and Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA). He also volunteered with Penn Law Advocates for the Homeless and Christian Legal Clinics of Philadelphia. During his summers, he worked for Able Lending, Covington & Burling LLP, and the Community Investments Team at Rock Ventures. Before coming to Penn Law, Albert worked as a management consultant for Oliver Wyman, where he specialized in the financial services industry. He then went on to help launch 12+, an education nonprofit that creates college-going cultures in Philadelphia high schools. Albert was also the co-founder of the Ivy Advantage Academy, a test prep social enterprise that contributed over $75,000 to education non-profits in Philadelphia. Albert holds an MPA from Princeton University and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania as a dual degree student in the Wharton School and the College of Arts and Sciences.
