Walter Anderson

Walter E. Anderson is an attorney with Washington, DC based Wiltshire & Grannis LLP.  He maintains a broad-based practice that spans a wide variety of services.  Mr. Anderson has represented numerous clients in the information technology and telecommunications industries, in proceedings before a number of federal regulators.  Mr. Anderson also has experience providing regulatory counseling to technology-based companies in numerous aspects of their businesses.

Mr. Anderson also has extensive civil, criminal, and appellate litigation experience, in all phases from the first appearance of a dispute, through discovery, pre-trial, and trial.  He has represented clients in a diverse range of complex cases, from antitrust to securities-fraud to general commercial litigation.  He has also provided a wide range of antitrust compliance counseling to companies in a number of different industries.

Mr. Anderson maintains an active pro bono practice.  His practice includes music-industry participants (including artists, venues, and non-profits), non-profits, and individuals who cannot afford legal services.

Mr. Anderson graduated from Georgetown University Law Center, cum laude.  Prior to law school, Mr. Anderson attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he received a degree in Communications—Media Studies.  Prior to joining Wiltshire & Grannis, Mr. Anderson worked for a major international law firm.
